  SALES POLICIES

All orders will be priced according to Childs & Albert current price schedule. Proof of business status is required to be eligible for discounts such as Pro/Motor Sports, Engine Builder and Warehouse Distributors. Due to material, labor and production costs, Childs & Albert reserves the right to change prices without notification.

MINIMUM ORDER:

The minimum order is $30.00 Net.

CUSTOM ORDERS:

All custom orders require a Non-Refundable 80% prepaid deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Payment options available are VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, COD (Cashier’s Check/Money Order), COD, Company Check OK (after approval), Net 10 Days and Net 30 Days IF you have established credit with us prior to your order and with an approved credit application.

SALES TAX:

Non-refundable sales tax will be charged on all invoices to customers in California that do not have a resale card on file with Childs & Albert at the time of invoicing.

FREIGHT AND SHIPPING:

All shipping is FOB Valencia, California. If no shipping instructions are received with your order, your order will be shipped UPS Ground. If you would like special handling such as UPS Next Day, UPS 2 Day or UPS 3 Day, please specify when placing your order. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $20.00 drop ship fee.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER:

Childs & Albert products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect all merchandise before use. Any problems or shortages must be reported within 7 days of Proof of Delivery. Credit, repair or replacement of goods is predicated upon factory inspection of the product in question.

 

The parts manufactured by Childs & Albert are intended for off-road and competition use. Due to the nature of this use, all purchasers are advised that under no circumstances will Childs & Albert, Inc. be held responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the installation or use of any Childs & Albert products. Installation of these parts could adversely affect the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty coverage. Subject to applicable law, some items may not be legal for use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles.

RETURNS:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.

Any corrections will be issued as a credit to your account that will be applied to your next order or as an exchange only. NO CREDIT CARD CHARGEBACKS.

Credits and/or exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee and must be done within 15 DAYS FROM INVOICING DATE. Returned merchandise will not be accepted without prior authorization. All returned goods MUST have an RGA # (return goods authorization) or EGA# (exchange goods authorization) written on the outside of the package when returned and a copy of the ORIGINAL INVOICE must be included. All freight must be prepaid. Any returns without prior authorization will not be accepted and will be returned back to you. Credits will be issued after inspection and approval of parts for resale. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED ON ANY CUSTOM PARTS.
